RANT Hello World (Yes, I Know How Tired That Is)
A quick one, mostly to get the lights on before the first proper review goes up.
Right. This is Superchat.blog, and I’m Eliot Auster, a computing science graduate from the University of York. I’ve spent a genuinely embarrassing number of hours taking things apart: games mostly, the odd router, and one GameCube memory card that corrupted a forty-hour save file and is, as far as I’m concerned, still an open wound.
The plan for this site is straightforward. I write about games I’ve actually finished, or more often games I’ve sunk forty-odd hours into and abandoned at the final boss anyway, plus hardware I’ve bought and tested properly enough to have an opinion about. Web stuff and general grievances get a look in too, whenever something on the internet has been built badly enough to notice.
Games will make up most of it. Everything else gets a post when it’s earned one.
There isn’t a schedule yet. There will be, once I’ve worked out what a sensible cadence looks like for one person with a full-time job and strong opinions about frame pacing. The next thing going up is a proper review, scored properly.
