RANT Hello World (Yes, I Know How Tired That Is)
A quick one, mostly to get the lights on before the first proper review goes up.
Right. This is Superchat.blog, and I’m Eliot Auster, a computing science graduate from the University of York, and I’ve spent a genuinely embarrassing number of hours taking things apart, games mostly, the odd router, and one GameCube memory card that corrupted a forty-hour save file and is, as far as I’m concerned, still an open wound.
I’ve been trying to work out what a sensible plan for this looks like, and the honest answer is that it isn’t complicated: games I’ve actually finished, or more often games I’ve sunk forty-odd hours into and abandoned at the final boss anyway, hardware I’ve bought and tested properly enough to have an opinion about, and web stuff and general grievances whenever something on the internet has been built badly enough to notice.
Games will make up most of it, and everything else gets a post once it’s earnt one.
There isn’t a schedule yet, though there will be one eventually, once I’ve worked out what a sensible cadence actually looks like for one person with a full time job and strong opinions about frame pacing. The next thing going up is a proper review, scored properly.
